Who we are

Sentinel Fleet is operated by Sentury Developments Ltd, registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our platform. You can contact us at hello@sentinelfleetuk.co.uk.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Account data — name, work email, company, role.
• Operational data — vehicle records, driver names, walkaround check results, photos, defect reports, and audit timestamps that you submit to the platform.
• Technical data — IP address, device type, and session identifiers needed to keep your account secure.
• Communications — emails or messages you send us.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, behavioural analytics, or social pixels.

Why we use it

• To provide and operate the platform (contractual necessity).
• To keep accounts secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
• To respond to support requests (contractual necessity).
• To send service announcements and, where you opt in, occasional product updates (consent).
• To comply with legal obligations.

How long we keep it

Account and operational data is retained while your account is active and for up to 30 days after termination, after which it is deleted from active systems. Backup copies are purged on a rolling 90-day cycle. Compliance evidence may be retained longer where required by law or where you have asked us to keep it as part of an audit trail.

Who we share it with

We share data only with vetted processors that help us run the service: cloud hosting (Netlify), database and storage providers, email delivery, and customer support tooling. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. We do not sell personal data. Ever.

Where it is stored

Your data is primarily processed within the UK and EEA. Where a processor moves data outside this region, we rely on UK International Data Transfer Agreements or equivalent safeguards.

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Restriction and objection — limit how we process your data.
